Plomo Showcases Unique Technologies at Malaysia World Maritime Week 2018
"Deputy Minister of Transport visits booth and praises Plomo’s dedication to innovation"
Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre - 07 August 2018- Datuk Kamarudin Jaafar, Deputy Minister of Transport, visited the Plomo Group booth at Malaysia World Maritime Week 2018 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and actively praised the dedication to innovation shown by the Plomo Group of Companies.
The annual event, held from 7th to 9th August, is encouraging exhibitors to align with the theme "IMO 70: Our Heritage – Better Shipping for a Better Future". The Plomo Group of Companies, well known for their dedication to charting a better future in the maritime sector using unique technologies, showcased their latest products at the exhibition.
The Plomo booth was a hub of activity during the day, with many participants wanting to test the newest technologies in training. Among the technologies present were Plomo’s augmented reality and virtual reality safety and training products. With the buzz around the Plomo booth, Datuk Kamarudin Jaafar, Deputy Minister of Transport, made his way to discover why the Plomo both was being spoken about as the main attraction. He commended the Plomo team for being the only exhibitor that was using in-house technology as a training medium and indicated that companies such as Plomo are the drivers of innovation both domestically and internationally within the maritime sector.
