This course aims to produce well – trained catering crew who will provide effective support to meet operational requirements of a ship with full safety. To produce well rounded catering crew with appropriate knowledge, skill, and competency together with positive attitude, respect for maritime best practices and high moral values. To provide participants on the awareness of enforcement of Food Handling with HACCP in the legislation requirements. The training syllabus in this course fulfills part of the knowledge specified in the Standard A3.2 Para 4 of Maritime Labour Convention 2006.

Requirements
:- Valid seaman card
:- Valid marine medical report
:- Minimum at least 12 months of sea time/working experience in the Catering Department serving onboard before 20th August 2017
